As it turns out, searching for your birth family in another country is kind of a crazy thing to do. That’s It is a raw account of my unsettling, propagandized visit to the orphanage and the psychological turmoil and collapse from uncovering abandonment certificates and learning the reality of my origin. This 43 page comic was traditionally drawn in 2026 and is a part of a forthcoming graphic novel tracing my experience as an adoptee from nescience, to reckoning, to the search for my family.
