a letter to my birth mother

Without knowing what trauma is, I wonder what my life would have been like if I had not been adopted. Words grieve the loss of family in China while images grieve adopted life in America. This was the first comic I made about adoption. Something weird must have happened in my brain because, since then, it seems like I’ve become incapable of making anything else but adoption comics (for better or for worse lol).
